GEAR OILS
OPTIMA GEAR OIL 5 is a high performance extreme pressure lubricant based on sulfur-phosphorus chemistry. It can be also be used to lubricate spur, helical, hypoid, bevel and spiral gears operating under high-speed shock loads conditions and low-speed, high torque conditions.
RECOMMENDED FOR: Automobile, truck, and heavy equipment transmissions and final drives that require EP gear lubricants. Also applied as a worm gear lubricant after break-in (except when manufacturer’s recommendation preclude the use of sulfur-phosphorus EP gear oils).

OPTIMA GEAR OIL 4 is a gear lubricant with extreme pressure, general-purpose type gear oil based on sulfur-phosphorus chemistry. Intended for axles with spiral bevel gears operating under moderate to severe conditions of speed and load or axles with hypoid gears operating under moderate speeds and loads. This may also be used in selected manual transmissions and transaxles applications.
RECOMMENDED FOR: Highway and off-the-road construction and agricultural equipment in lubricating transmissions, and other various passenger cars, buses, trucks, and tractors.

GEAR OIL SAE 90/140 are foam inhibited mineral gear oils. These are recommended for transmissions and differentials where EP gear oils are not required. They are also excellent for hard oiling or all-loss lubrication where heavy bodies mineral oils are desired.
