Through the Academe Foundation – our non-stock, non-profit organization accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) – we help move dreams every day.
The Academe Foundation has granted college scholarships and serves grade school students via our Learning Centers nationwide. Part of our efforts in taking qualified youths out of the streets and into classrooms.
1999
• Academe Foundation was institutionalized
2003
• Inauguration of the Gov. Rebecca Ynares Learning Center in cooperation with the Rizal Provincial Government and Rotary International (R.I.) District 3800
2007
• Academe Foundation Learning Center was opened in Poro, San Fernando, La Union
2008
• Academe Foundation Learning Center was opened in Canaoay, San Fernando, La Union
2009
• Academe Foundation Learning Center was opened in West Marilog, Mahayhay, Davao
2010
• Academe Foundation Learning Center was opened in Taal, Batangas
The Academe Foundation also offers a values formation program for children from 3 to 6 years old. Within our Learning Centers, teachers impart relevant and important means of formation; so children can have solid moral and social foundations to become responsible members of the community.
In 2009, a program with La Salle Greenhills Night School provided other residents of Rizal with short courses in Basic Electronics and Cooking & Baking to have more livelihood opportunities.
